In June, the Mid-America Arts Alliance began presenting exhibits in the organization’s freshly renovated headquarters at 2018 Baltimore Ave.
The shows, which will change every two months or so, offer the Kansas City audience a sneak peek at M-AAA’s traveling exhibits before they head out on tour. M-AAA creates some of the shows, but most are organized by other institutions. M-AAA then converts them into compact, portable and easy-to-set-up exhibits for venues ranging from university art museums to rural community centers.
