This summer’s high temperatures have forced everyone to find creative ways to stay cool, including man’s best friend.
That task is easier for dogs in Urbana, Va., thanks to a local café owner who has bought out the small town’s supply of kiddie pools to keep dogs hydrated and cooled.

Cool start to week in Philadelphia


The week is getting off to a cool start in Philadelphia. Temperatures over the weekend were well below normal for early August, and that's expected to continue for the next several days. And early this morning, the mercury at Philadelphia International Airport dropped to its lowest mark since June.

It's hot, and although the summer is almost over, the heat isn't going away anytime soon.
Experts urge people to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated to ward off heatstroke when temperatures get to the triple digits, but there's some other tasty ways to keep cool.
Summer is the best time to go eat at a frutería for some of the freshest fruit salads, fresh-squeezed lemonade or other fruit drinks. These Mexican fruit stands can be one of the best places to go anytime, especially during the hot summer months.
